Cannabiziac® recently concluded its international “Get in the Biz” Roadshow with a final stop in Kingston, Jamaica, on October 24, 2024. Hosted at The University of the West Indies, the event attracted entrepreneurs, professionals, and enthusiasts eager to explore opportunities in the burgeoning cannabis industry. Participants were treated to a day of insightful presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to educate and empower them. The roadshow covered five cities across three countries, making waves since its debut in Toronto, Canada, in June 2024.
One of the event’s highlights was the Cannabiz Builder Incubator™ Program preview, offering attendees a chance to pitch their cannabis business ideas to a panel of judges. Adrian Anglin won the Business Case Pitch Competition, securing a $5,000 USD scholarship and one year of business mentorship. Reggae artist Dwight “Bushman” Duncan was also honored as the inaugural recipient of the “Ras Perty Gairy Rastafarian Scholarship,” recognizing innovative ganja-related ventures.
